Our Mission

The primary mission of the Ben Franklin Academy is to offer students a college-preparatory high school diploma through individualized instruction, with careful regard for each student's different learning styles and abilities.

BFA is a special purpose college preparatory high school: we seek to provide our students with a challenging individualized college preparatory education within a caring community of learners, while advancing the knowledge and methodology of adolescent education through research, curriculum development, innovative learning materials, and publications.

Our secondary goal is to continue our involvement and leadership in school restructuring and technological innovation. We seek to share our vision and strategies widely with other educators in Georgia and the nation.
