Tuition
Tuition for the 2009-2010 academic year has been established as $22,500.
Tuition payments are due in three installments of $4,500 on April 1, 2009, $9,000 due on June 1, 2009 and October 1, 2009.
Financial Assistance
As a small private school, Ben Franklin Academy's scholarship funds are
limited but growing. BFA follows federal guidelines in awarding and administering financial
aid. All aid is awarded on the basis of financial need, and families who
wish to be considered for scholarship assistance must complete the standard
SSS application for determination by the Princeton Financial Aid Service.
Once financial need is established, the BFA Scholarship Committee reviews
all applicants and awards available funds at its discretion, based upon
the level of need demonstrated and on the faculty's financial aid priorities.
Priorities For Awarding Scholarships
Currently, our priorities are to assist families now receiving aid (as
long as they continue to qualify) so that current students may complete
their high school program; to respond to families in exceptional circumstances;
and to address equity issues of gender, racial and ethnic balance.
Application Procedures and Deadlines
Families applying for scholarships should review the procedure with the
Business Manager upon registration.
Due to our limited scholarship funds, families deserving aid should inform the school
upon application for enrollment. Scholarship funds will be very
limited for families applying after February 1, so it is advisable to
apply early.
