Ultimate Disc
2011/2012 Ultimate Disc Season
The Ben Franklin Academy 2012 Ultimate Frisbee season begins in early February, 2012, and ends on Monday, April 30, 2012. Practices, team matches, tournaments and team gatherings are important parts of a successful team season. The season has been designed to give the student Ultimate player a complete team experience that includes competitive and social events that build team and leadership skills.
The practice times will be announced in January, 2012. Practices, team matches, tournaments and team gatherings are required. Excused absences must be approved ahead of time by the coach.
Try-outs?
There are no try outs for the BFA Ultimate Frisbee Team. Ben Franklin Academy has a no-cut policy. Students begin the program at their current fitness level and work through personal and team goals as the season progresses.
Teem Meet Schedule
Ben Franklin Academy Ultimate Frisbee participates in a season of approved Unites States Ultimate Association (USAU) practices, team matches, and tournaments that lead to the High School State Championship at the end of the spring. The team meet schedule will be posted in January, 2012.
